Group Creative
Art making

The goal of group art making is to provide a supportive and social environment for connection, personal growth and

emotional health and wellness.

Join one of our all-abilities groups which offer not only an opportunity for

self-discovery, but camaraderie and human connection.

Social Skill Development for Children and Teens

Children often think visually, in image.

This is one of the many reasons why creative storyboarding and art making is are valuable tools in learning to recognise, understand and regulate emotions. Also, to develop healthy social skills to take into a future that is optimistic and bright.

Creativity for
All Abilities

Creating art helps to maximise wellbeing and quality of life for people of all abilities. It offers a chance to celebrate uniqueness and explore emotions, challenges and creative problem-solving skills.

Creating art provides a format where words aren't necessary, and emotions can be communicated using images, shapes, colours and form.

Being creative is freeing as there is no right or wrong way to be creative, it just is as it is. There are only curiosity, imagination and play.

The Stress Management Lab

The Stress Management Lab is an evidence-based program that has been designed to manage chronic stress and its negative effects on overall health.

Our Stress Managment Lab project is holistic in its approach and is designed to work in conjunction with your other health care providers. This gentle program delivers a powerful set of evidence-based tools and exercises that shift your nervous system from the sympathetic 'fight or flight' response to the parasympathetic 'rest and restore' response.

The thing I have discovered within my studies and my own personal journey is that healing only happens in softness. This program is suitable for humans of all ages and abilities.

About Biomedical Meditation Therapy

Biomedical Meditation Therapy for Wellbeing

Everything that happens in the mind, has a physical representation in the brain, which correlates directly to what happens in the body and the state of our overall health and wellbeing. Therefore, experiencing ongoing negative emotions, poor emotional health or having persistent and ongoing or elevated stress in our lives can cause damage to the body.

Through biomedical meditation we work toward reversing the effects of the toxic stress experience on mind and body. This is done by building and practicing a set of evidence based therapeutic lifestyle skills.

Meditation Therapy can be used as a wellness practice for overall health and wellbeing. It is also beneficial for individuals struggling with stress related illness, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and insomnia.

Your instructor Michelle holds a Master's in Biomedical Meditation Therapy and Allied Health.
