Balance
Art Therapy for
Cognitive Health

Scientific evidence has proven that art and creative process enhances brain function. It has an impact on brain wave patterns, emotions and the nervous system, and can actually raise serotonin levels.

Art Therapy is a combination of art making and psychotherapy, that is used to enhance emotional health and brain function.

Creative Arts Therapy helps the brain fight cognitive decline through neuroplasticity.

Rock Formations
Art for
All Abilities

Creating art helps to maximise wellbeing and quality of life for people of all abilities. It offers a chance to celebrate uniqueness and explore creativity, feelings and challenges.

Art Therapy provides a format where words aren't necessary, and emotions can be communicated using images, shapes, colours and form.

Being creative is freeing as there is no right or wrong way to be creative, it just is as it is. There is only curiosity, imagination and play.

White Feather
Social Skill Development for Children and Adults Living with Autism

Children and adults living with ASD think visually, in image. This is one of the many  reasons why Creative Arts Therapy is a valuable tool in learning to recognise emotions and learn new social skills. As a visual therapy we incorporate the clients own unique special interests to demonstrate positive behaviours in a safe and supportive environment.

Creative Arts Therapy helps establish connection, empathy and community in children and adults living with ASD

Art Therapy is an NDIS approved therapy.

About Biomedical Meditation Therapy

Biomedical Meditation for Wellbeing and Chronic Pain Management

Everything that happens in the mind, has a physical representation in the brain, which correlates directly to what happens in the body and the state of our overall health and wellbeing. Therefore, experiencing ongoing negative emotions, poor emotional health or having persistent and ongoing elevated stress in our lives can cause damage to the body.

Through biomedical meditation we work toward reversing the effects of the toxic stress experience on mind and body. This is done by building a set of evidence based, therapeutic skills like mindfulness, a meditation practice, the ability to scan the world for positives and breathing practices. Skills, that when practiced on a regular basis help calm the mind, lower the resting heart rate, lower blood pressure, help you sleep better, enhance focus ability, reduce negative feelings and more. Allowing us to take control over our own wellbeing.
